REVELATION 5:1

AND I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

John saw a book in the right hand of God. It was written within and on the backside and sealed with seven seals. It was a mystery known only to God. The book being shown to be written ‘within and on the backside’ points out the symbolic nature of the contents of the book. What is written on the backside and, therefore, able to be read of all, is representative of its symbolic writings. However, that which is written within and, therefore, hidden, is representative of the interpretation of these writings. Though John penned these symbolic writings about two thousand years ago, it is the interpretation of these writings that have remained hidden; that is, until now.
