REVELATION 15:6
And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
The ‘seven angels’ being shown to come ‘out of the temple’, reveals the group of servants they signify, to come out from the church of God, the hundred and forty-four thousand. That they were ‘clothed in pure and white linen’, reveals these servants to be clothed with the righteousness of the Lord, for ‘pure and white linen’ is symbolic of righteousness. Their breasts being girded with golden girdles marks them to be the Lord’s instruments of wrath, for the Lord was shown to be dressed in similar attire in the day of His wrath: “And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.” (Revelation 1:13)
These servants were previously shown to come out from God’s church, the hundred and forty-four thousand, in the ‘angel’ who had a sharp sickle being shown to come out of the temple: “And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.” (Revelation 14:17) They were also shown to come out of God’s church in the birth of the ‘man child’: “And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” (Revelation 12:5) And in the revelation of the ‘two witnesses’, these servants were identified to be two candlesticks, that is, two of the seven churches who will make up the church of God. (see Revelation 11:4)
