REVELATION 13:17

And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Without the ‘mark’, no man can buy or sell. Since it will take a computerised system to control all buying and selling, the ‘mark’, will be in the form of a microchip containing identification data. However, instead of a microchip being placed on a card, it will be implanted in the right hand, or in the forehead.

He who has the microchip implant has the ‘name of the beast’ and the ‘number of his name’. The ‘name of the beast’ is ‘blasphemy’: “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.” (Revelation 13:1) The ‘number of his name’, on the other hand, is symbolic of the spirit of blasphemy. Therefore, he who has the microchip implant, has the spirit of blasphemy.
